Full Stack Back-End Developer
I build backends that stay up.
Three years working with Node.js, Deno, and Go. PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues.
I have shipped platforms that process 2 million events a day, deployed with zero downtime, and built systems designed to survive the next release without a rewrite.
I care about reliability, clean architecture, and the kind of engineering that only becomes visible when nothing goes wrong.
Selected Work
PocketStore
A multi-tenant e-commerce platform that runs unlimited storefronts on a single Deno process with a 100MB memory limit. The challenge was density: how many tenants can you fit in one process before it breaks?
- Integrated server-side GA4 and Meta CAPI tracking so ad-blockers could not strip conversion data. Achieved 100% tracking accuracy.
- Designed the API layer with Hono, Drizzle, and PostgreSQL. Added Redis caching to cut database latency.
- Modified Fresh 2 SSR with Preact islands to render tenant-specific pages without a separate deployment per tenant.
DrQuizy
An adaptive learning platform for medical students. Gamification, exam-focused content, and the constraint of low-bandwidth networks in emerging markets.
- Optimized API pipelines and frontend caching for 4G connections. The platform felt fast even when the network did not.
- Applied gamification patterns to improve engagement. Students studied longer because it felt like a game, not homework.
Alala.ci
An e-commerce backend designed to scale automatically. When traffic surged, the system grew with it instead of falling over.
- Built a clean frontend with DaisyUI Kit that users actually found intuitive.
- Reduced bandwidth usage through aggressive frontend caching with auto-revalidation. Pages loaded faster, cost less to serve.
- Set up automated testing, building, and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions on a VPS. No manual steps, no forgotten steps.

Contractual Back-End Software Developer
AwareXone
- Built Hono and PostgreSQL microservices for production-scale traffic with zero-downtime deployments. No dropped requests during releases.
- Designed event-driven data pipelines with end-to-end integration tests so failures got caught before they reached production.
- Set up CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Docker. Deployments went from manual and scary to automated and boring.
- Worked directly with business and QA teams to translate product needs into working software. Documented everything so the next person would not have to guess.

Research and Development Engineer
JaduPc
- Built the backend for a telemetry device that sends 2 million events per day. RabbitMQ for queueing, Protocol Buffers for compact data, PostgreSQL for storage.
- Developed real-time monitoring APIs with NestJS for a fleet of embedded devices running ShopnoOS. Sub-100ms response times even on large datasets.
- Deployed everything with zero downtime using GitHub Actions, Nginx, and Ubuntu servers. Automated testing caught regressions before they reached users.
- Contributed to Flutter-based Linux apps for embedded devices. Learned that frontend on constrained hardware is a different discipline entirely.

Full Stack JavaScript Web-App Developer
Posh Print LLC
- Engineered billing, notification, and asset management APIs using Express.js and NestJS for 5,000+ monthly users. Systems that ran without surprises.
- Switched the frontend to Next.js SSR and watched organic traffic grow 80%. Top Google rankings for key terms.
- Wrote unit and integration tests that made deployments confident instead of nervous. Backend stability improved measurably.
- Created internal API documentation and runbooks so the team could operate without depending on one person.

What drives me
AGL & Vehicle Systems
Automotive Grade Linux, CAN bus, and the software stack inside modern EVs. Living in China means being surrounded by electric vehicles daily. The engineering inside them is a different world from web development, and that is what makes it compelling.
Node.js & Deno Runtimes
Understanding how JavaScript engines actually work. The event loop, the runtime internals, the design decisions that make Deno different from Node. Not just using the tools, but knowing what makes them tick.
AGI & AI Infrastructure
The systems that will power tomorrows intelligent applications. Distributed computing, data pipelines, the engineering that makes AI practical at scale. The models get the attention, but the infrastructure does the work.
Embedded Linux
Software that runs on hardware with constraints. From Raspberry Pi to vehicle ECUs, limited resources force better engineering. Every byte counted, every cycle respected.
Networking & VPN
The plumbing that makes the internet work. Tunnels, encryption, protocols that route data across continents. Infrastructure that connects the world and keeps it secure.

Thoughts on backend systems, distributed architecture, embedded Linux, and the technology landscape in China. Coming soon.
